Does anyone know if EE use dpd to deliver returns packaging for when you trade in a phone because I’ve just received a dpd email from EE and I have ordered a PS5 and I’m eagerly awaiting the dpd notification like yourselves so don’t want to get my hopes up thinking it’s the ps5 😂

As DPD seems to be their main logistics partner one would assume they use that for phone trade-in's as well.

@Dewi67 Are you PS5 only? If so it could also be them having gotten some stock today and sorting all leftover console only people 😕

@MESSBAND nope I got the additional controller and ps+ ordered it at 8:22 just in case you wanted the time 😂 that’s why I’m very sceptical about it. Upgraded my phone today as they would waver the early upgrade fees and the phone is not in stock yet and the advisor told me I’d receive the returns packaging before the actual phone I just didn’t think dpd would deliver trade in packaging 😂

@Dewi67 Royal Mail delivered my trade in packaging

I know years ago when I used to do a lot of work for a third party for EE and Orange before that, Their warehouses were based out of Kuehne & Nagel , warehouses .
Main Service Centre for repairs was just outside of Banbury.
Things have probably changed a lot now especially with the ownership from BT,
But most likely EE will have implanted logistics staff in DPD warehouses and the items are shipped and managed from there.
Logistical hubs around the country so to speak.
Majority of the EE offices and I have been to them all, are mostly just Contact centres and administration offices.
Thats how a lot of operations most likely work. Its unlikely the support staff you speak to today can tell you much more than whats on their systems unless of course they are lucky enough to know someone involved in the logistical elements
