**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

 

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?


When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.



Am I eligible?


You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

 

 

Can I buy over the phone?


No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

 

 

How do I know my order has been successful?


When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.


You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

 

 

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?


Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

 

 

Will you be selling accessories or games?


Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

 

 

How will I find out about my delivery details?

 

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

 

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

 

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

 

 

What if I want to cancel my order?


If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

@Ale1206 Every now and then we get someone like you coming in to the thread telling people to chill out like you are on the high ground. This forum is for discussion and if we want to speculate then we will speculate.

I received a terrible email about my ps5 order today!

This is the email

 

"Hi,

Thank you for your recent order for an add to plan product.

Unfortunately, you’ve reached the maximum add to plan orders on your account.

Don’t worry, we have not taken any payment at this time.

Thanks"

 

THEY TOOK THE UPFRONT COST YESTERDAY. WTF?

 

I've ordered it in the launch day. What's going on? I've received a confirmation email back in that day and an order number and now they're cancelling it?

 

 

@Luke891No, console only, handset plan, ordered 0823. Had the original notification from DPD UK yesterday promising delivery today but the local lot appear to be a bit confused as to when it’s arriving.

Well I decided to call, 25 minutes on hold and they decided to hang up rather than answering! 

How does one get through to Digital Sales... when I call the number I can never figure out which options to go through to get to them?

Haha, I have been keeping up with this forum since the start, I’m not trying to get at anyone, I get the frustration but I’m shocked that people are even more annoyed now consoles are being shipped. Surely that is a good sign?!? 

not trying to poke the bear so to speak, I am not a troll. I am just surprised how entitled people are and fretting about order times is just stupid. Everyone on this thread ordered on launch day, they will get their consoles. 

I understand the bundle issue, they won’t ship separately because that would cost more. In traditional retail they allocate bundle stock and they can’t sell that stock separately in a lot of cases as it’s not the retailer that decides the bundle, it is negotiated with the supplier. I used to work for Hmv in the games department and we used to get fifa as a bundle all the time. People would complain they didn’t want fifa but I couldn’t sell them the console on its own because then I would have extra copies of fifa that were sold to use under that bundle price. We also used to get people complain when we didn’t have kid friendly games in the bundle but I always just said to people they should just take the game (usually CoD) two doors down to Game and trade it in for something else.

The only question I really want to know is did any of those people getting their ps5 today lose the ability to add to plan after ordering and get an error saying you need to be in the first 17 months? My worry is come dispatch day, I’m going to receive an email saying I can’t have it.

@Ale1206 most of us here are just trying to get info and speculate so we don’t have to sit on this thread for any longer. Hearing people specify their situation is a help to the rest of us waiting. Someone just said they had their order cancelled now which is new info and a bit worrying to be honest. If you are annoyed by us speculating and aren’t bothered if you don’t get it until the 15th then why even be here and make a comment that helps absolutely no one trying to collect info.
