Have you ordered a PS5? Here's what to expect

**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

 

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?


When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.



Am I eligible?


You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

 

 

Can I buy over the phone?


No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

 

 

How do I know my order has been successful?


When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.


You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

 

 

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?


Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

 

 

Will you be selling accessories or games?


Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

 

 

How will I find out about my delivery details?

 

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

 

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

 

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

 

 

What if I want to cancel my order?


If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

Everybody just needs to calm down and take a step back here. If this forum didn’t exist then we would all be under the impression that we are going to receive our PS5’s, with or without bundled items by 15th December. We all knew this when we ordered the consoles so to be annoyed that someone who ordered after you is getting the console sooner is irrelevant. If it comes by the 15th December, as promised when we ordered, then you have no right to be upset. It’s this forum that has caused numerous live chats, phone calls and confusion for over a week. No wonder EE didn’t officially respond because they would have been eaten alive. I’ll be at the front of the queue wanting answers on 16th December if the consoles don’t arrive but until that time has passed, what will be will be.

Mine is now showing on the DPD app. Says awaiting parcel from EE. 
I haven’t had the £10 taken, haven’t had any texts, it isn’t added on my plan yet either. 
I ordered last Thursday at 9.45am console only.

I certainly wasnt told 16th of December I was told next day delivery when I ordered

To be honest i just want to know my situation what ever it is, i wont be annoyed to much if i find out it wont be tomorrow. I just want to know instead of being in Limbo!

EE normally inform they offer free delivery Monday to Friday. I have a feeling that although we may have been advised by DPD delivery scheduled for tomorrow. I feel it may be pushed back. They are generally still showing on DPD’s side that they’re waiting for the parcel from EE. 

I will keep people updated whether it does turn up or not tomorrow. But I’m not getting excited until I actually have it in my hands. 😀

@MikeD_89 Lets hope that CS guy doesn’t know what he is talking about then. I’m coming to terms with it now and thinking it aint happening after that last phone call though. If only i could find my number

So my mums order is now showing as add to plan on her account, that was console only. 

 

Mine is still not showing. I had the one controller bundle.

Seems to have gone quiet 

 

Pretty gutted to be honest I wanted the ps5 only just didn't see it..

Honestly, I think the majority of people here are in the exact same boat.

Just clicked the first thing we saw before it sold out. 

 

I dont even understand why the bundles are a thing.

Controllers are in stock everywhere, and PS+ is discounted for Black Friday.

 

Why bother with the extra faff.
