Have you ordered a PS5? Here's what to expect

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?

When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.

Am I eligible?

You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

Can I buy over the phone?

No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

How do I know my order has been successful?

When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.

You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?

Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

Will you be selling accessories or games?

Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

How will I find out about my delivery details?

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

What if I want to cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

Assuming they’ve put PS5 stock aside for the bundle orders, then I’m more than happy for everyone who’s had theirs shipped today (as someone who ordered the console/controller/membership bundle at 8.16). What I will be upset about is if they’ve just screwed the people who ordered bundles over, and we’ll now have to wait for more stock of the console itself. That would be wrong and a clear violation of what we’ve been told about orders getting processed in time order.

Im honestly so happy that consoles have started rolling out , the amount of pressure and stress this would have relieved for parents or single parents is unreal ... I've not had my notification as of yet from dpd , but I'm sure it will come within a week or so ,

Nothing concreate, as can be expected really.

Customer Service Reps are saying they are out of stock of the controllers, one thought it was the PS+ thing they are out of stock of. It's the usual shenanigans of no clear communication.

First shipping notifications started coming through just before 3pm.

There is still a chance that they are packaging the bundles, or doing them last, but honestly who the hell knows at this point.

I really think @Christopher_G  needs to step in here and at least give us a little peace of mind and ease the call volume they are recieving right now.

Think they should just tell us straight what's going in, consoles only then atleast we know. Becoming a joke just not knowing

I cant speak for apple I use android, you should have got one email with your order then a second one with your xko number, its on the same email that states delivery is expected before 15th December ?

@MikeD_89 i have just got off the phone from CS and he said that my order is still an open order and he said it will absolutely not be sent out. My order was at 08:38 and he said no one after that time will be receiving one tomorrow even though i am pretty sure people on here ordered later and are getting it to tomorrow. (Although can i really trust what he says after all these days of misinformation? He sounded pretty adamant though) I wonder if anyone is receiving emails right now about delivery for tomorrow or if they have stopped.

Going to start a JustGiving campaign so we can all chip in to send EE some PS5 controllers.

Given I can order 10x of them right now on Argos, for collection before midday, if the bundles are genuinely delayed because of controllers, I really hope they fix it bloody soon and have set aside our consoles.....

I can 100% confirm that someone who ordered at 10am is receiving one tomorrow.

A friend of mine who has already posted in this forum was like a 9:57am order.

My boys birthday on the 3rd december planned this for him birthday and on launch day ordered him 5 ps5 games 4 for Christmas... so right now I'll literally have nothing for him and in screeeeewed
