Have you ordered a PS5? Here's what to expect

**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

 

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?


When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.



Am I eligible?


You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

 

 

Can I buy over the phone?


No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

 

 

How do I know my order has been successful?


When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.


You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

 

 

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?


Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

 

 

Will you be selling accessories or games?


Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

 

 

How will I find out about my delivery details?

 

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

 

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

 

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

 

 

What if I want to cancel my order?


If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

Has anyone had their £10 taken? I’ve got the confirmation email and screenshot of order number. Got my order confirmation at 08:19 this morning. 

Not yet, I think they only take the money when its about to be dispatched.I just checked their twitter and saw this posted:

If you received a successful order confirmation when you placed your order, we have received this. Because of the high demand, it may take a couple of days to work its way through our system. We will send you a further confirmation once it’s on its way. -Lianne

Like everyone else here I'm wondering about specifics. I know every company has had issues with PS5 stock and ordering but we really do need to know:

 

- If we have an order number from the confirmation page, do we have a PS5?

- What is the estimated time for delivery if stock is available?

 

I have a PDF of my confirmation screen with an order number, I also have the 'your order' email. I haven't been able to find anything new on my bill, no pending amounts or a page that shows my add to plan orders. 

 

I'm not too fussed when it gets delivered as long as it does but I would still like an estimate. Will it be one week? Two? (once stock is in of course)

 

I ordered mine at 8:22 am so I hope I actually do have the system. 

 

Any help or more information is much appreciated 

I just hope by  “received it” they mean you have one! I ordered around an hour after they said they were sold out so I’m not overly hopeful, I did get a confirmation email and an xko order number.

 

Not sure if to try my Luck with Amazon later on!

I was to.d on the phone if we have a xko order number we have 100% got one.

So we will see.

I ordered the PS5 at 8.30am this morning and got an email without a confirmation number, I noticed I used the wrong bank card on my ordrder, is there anyway somebody could contact me regarding this?

Got my order in at 0824, like others got the email but no order number which is strange. Fingers crossed!

I’ve used add to plan previously. I’ve checked old emails and the first never has the xko number. That usually appears on the 2nd email to confirm dispatch. So I would try not to worry to much about that. 

It states they won't take the £10 payment until the ps5 is ready to be ship it out. So don't panic
