Hi,
So I recently changed my ISP provider from Virgin to EE, and ever since the change I have been experiencing lag spikes on online games that go from 9ms to 400-600ms every few seconds. It happens so much that the game becomes unplayable.
I have run a few speed tests and everything returns back normal (500mbs and 60mbps) however gaming has become unplayable, considering on Virgin, I had a stable ping of 20ms on a game.
I’ve already contacted the EE broadband help team and they didn’t help one bit. My router is the Smart Hub plus. Could someone help me fix this issue?

Welcome to the community.
I'm a gamer myself, so I know how frustrating this can be. Are you using a wired connection, or wireless? An ethernet cable straight into your console/PC should offer you a more stable connection.
