Is there anybody out there having a connection delay issue when turning on there Xbox, ?
When connecting to Xbox there’s a delay and not picking up IPv6  instantly where has the BT smart hub never had this problem!!  I don’t think the made for gamer bundle is really anything but a marketing gimmick and real serious gammer would not use WiFi to play!! Has anybody used a third party party router on there service to utilise the 1.6GB, I’m thinking of purchasing a new router

or something similar any advice out there with using a third party router with the EE service

Hi @Pageppg

Would recommend using your own router for many reasons.

Search the forums for issues with EE routers and gaming.

Thanks

I presume your Xbox is connected to the router by Ethernet. The EE Smart Hubs' ports suffer from a significant delay in waking up Ethernet devices.

If you have DV you must use the EE supplied router.
