EE GameCard

Trying to claim a GameCard is a joke. How can this not just be sent to the email that ordered? Would save an advisor to help actual customers issues and give people a good service. As texting 150 didn’t works as suggested in previous posts and I’m not on hold for over 25 minutes to speak to someone to sort this.

it’s the same for the Gamepass and such that come with broadband. Always a chore to claim these things through EE. If they can’t be bothered to do the promotion properly then don’t bother at all.

Cool, can’t wait to sit on the phone for a further 40 minutes to be told the same process

I'm confident we'll be able to get this escalated for you @BrinDiesel

Fingers crossed it won't need to come to this, but if you were unable to move forwards further it's also possible to raise this directly with our complaints team via their dedicated web form.

I’m having the same issue, apparently it’s an automated process but now 7 days post ps5 purchase and still no code. Will be returning by my ps5 in a couple of days as it’s not what I purchased as not had the voucher

I am also now facing the same issue with the gamecard plus a 24 month game pass. The ee gamecard i received a £70 and a £100. I have redeemed £70 on the ee games website and I have received no confirmation of my order. No receipt, no redemption code. All I am able to do is have an email address which is the same as @BrinDiesel. I have now had to send them an email stating I've not received anything as I was told ee can't do anything as it's not done through them.

It's been a complete mess, oh and to add to that. As I redeemed 70 through the ee games website (even though I haven't received anything from that) if I now decide to send the console back, I will be charged £70 for the voucher I used, even though I haven't actually received anything from using the voucher. Everyone on the phone just keeps saying the deals are confusing. If the staff don't know anything, how are the customers meant to know anything.

Don’t even get me started! Did you ever sort this out?I don’t know how long ago this was. I’ve been going back and forth with mine since the end of September. No one knows what they’re doing and I swear if another advisor tells me to text EE GameCard to 150 again I’ll go insane. That does not work! I’ll never buy anything from them again, why promise these bundles and make it this difficult.

Did you ever get ur GameCard sorted?

So, my issue was that my bundle should have come with a £150 voucher. I did receive a code and a pin for £70, which was obviously incorrect. I contacted ee and not long after they sent me a code and pin for a further £100 to redeem for the inconvenience. As you can imagine, I was OK with this. So I went on to the ee games website to redeem my £70 voucher for xbox giftcards to redeem. So I did this and received an order number but no email or anything to confirm.

It has now been 5-6days and I have sent an email to the company that issue the gift cards through the ee website. This is a company called WAIVPAY. At my surprise, there total review is 2.2 star. I have emailed and sent online forms to them to understand what's going on, but no response. I looked in to it further to find out this company is in Sydney, Australia. So if I wanted to call my bill would be ridiculous, let alone trying to work around the time zone of them being 11 hours ahead!! So, currently, I am no further with anything I ordered and got and currently giving money to ee for nothing.

I feel sorry for people who havent received the ee gamecard firstly, as little do they know, they will have more frustration to not even receive the voucher when redeem via the ee games store website. I have no idea why EE do this, when they could just send out physical cards in the box.

An update. I have now managed to resolve my issue.

Unfortunately, most people never received the actual ee gamecard voucher and pin. Whereas I did. But, my issue was redeeming it through the website of ee games I'd the secondary company WAIVPAY. After waiting for a reply to my emails and online forms after 6 days. I decided to call the company past 10pm last night (due to the company being in australia. Spoke with a lady who stated I should have received my emails for the redemption codes, which I hadn't. She resent them to me whilst I was on the phone. I then had another Voucher her I needed to use and when I used that one I got the code etc instantly via email. So the ee gamecard situation has now been solved for me, I hope anyone else in this position does manage to get there's resolved and never give up regardless of who you speak to. It's a break in contract if you don't get what you originally ordered and are paying for!!!
