Console addon without the data pass

I was considering ordering the Xbox series X bundle with the game pass ultimate.

I noticed that it also includes data pass, however I have unlimited broadband with another provider so if I can avoid paying for that service then it makes more sense to me.

I contacted support from my mobile who said they can't help and to go online, I went online and they tell me they can't help and that I may have to go in store.

I can't be doing with all this being passed from pillar to post , I'm just trying to spend some money with them, albeit not on extras I can't actually use.

How difficult can it be for EE to just give me some clarification?

Has anyone else with an unlimited plan or a service with another provider managed to take out a console without paying for the data pass plan?

The data pass is to allow you to play the cloud based service on your mobile device when away from your home broadband on the EE network without incurring data charges. It says in the T&C.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Add-on (the “Xbox Add-on”) provides you with access to Xbox
Game Pass (for use on games console and Windows 10 PC), Xbox Live Gold (for use on
games console only) and Cloud Gaming (beta) (for use on a compatible mobile device) (the
“services”), for a monthly charge.

Ultimately this is the package offered by EE.
