Connecting PlayStation Portal outside of home network

So I brought out portal on holiday and it won’t connect.

The PS5 is setup correctly, straight to LAN and over 500mbs. In rest mode and settings are correct. The portal works perfectly on the home network.

However, as soon as try outside of home network it cannot connect at all.

Is this a router blocking issue?

Everybody has tried it but PlayStation cannot help because it’s an EE router issue! You need to find a solution asap EE because frankly your answers are lazy and unacceptable.

EE are crap you cannot even use your phones hotspot I had to buy a Three sim card so I could use my portal on the go, I won't be renewing my EE contract.

Hi all if you're having issues connecting remote play on your portal from another network other than your ee network ir issue with ee network also you need to sign into your router, to do this find the ip by using command prompt on your laptop or computer and type ipconfig go down to default gateway and should show your router ip open a browser and copy that ip to go to your router portal, then their an open something like connection or device connection can't remember exactly click on that type in your admin password, then find your ps 5 and ps portal and set them both to static ips
