Cannot add xbox ultimate gamepass which I should be getting free

Hi, I purchased xbox x bundle for 31 a month, received console and £140 game card but no mention of ultimate gamepass which should be included free for 2 years.

I've tried adding it as an included addition but only option available is to pay £12 a month for it.

I read somewhere you get a text after a week of receiving console which hasnt happened.

How long did you receive the Xbox?

You'll receive a text message with a link to activate your Game Pass as soon as your 14 day return period ends.

It was around 18th June so almost a month and still no text.
