"It looks like auth.ee.co.uk closed the connection."

I usually login to the Community (& EE) from my main Windows user on my PC. For the last week or so I've been unable to login there. I'm getting the above error msg on Edge & a similar one from Chrome. It not like I'm actually trying to login & present my creds but this is happening just when I click on "" at top R of window. Nor is it like the common "404 Page not Found" or "403 Forbidden" but as if the EE auth server is deliberately cutting my connection.

Now, here's the rub! I can go to another Windows user on the same PC & I can login to the Community easily w/out fail on all browsers. This is how I'm getting here at the mo'

Now similar happened before, the last time last year, & it went on for a few weeks until it suddenly cleared up & I could go back to using my main Windows user. I can't guarantee that it was the same error msg but it was similar with the EE server bouncing my connection.

It's as if somebody has done a revamp of the the EE server & somehow cleared this refusal. I'd like it to be done again so I can get back to using my main Windows user sooner rather than later.

Now seems fixed 🙂 . Fingers crossed!

Haven't been doing anything out the ordinary to try & overcome it but just stumbled on it when I thought I was in my subsidiary Windows user when I was in my main user.

It seems to take 1 month for someone to realise a bug has been introduced into the online MyEE auth code & then to fix it.

Hi @XRaySpeX

Sounds like a peculiar one.
Without seeming too obvious, have you tried clearing the cookies/cache on your windows profile, on all the browsers?
