Why is the mobile app and website so bad?

I login to the mobile app once a month to share mobile data with another number under my account, and every single time I've had issues doing this.

I've now started using the website for this, but the same thing.

Login error or "We cant process your request right now"

Can someone from EE please please please fire your web developers and get a team in who can actually run a service. 

I do one action once a month, and every time it's broken? How this this allowed?

@userbradley  The simply fact that not all customers have this same issue means it’s an account related issue.  How does anyone fix an account related issue unless you report that issue by calling customer support.   While your on the phone you can also request an account reset as this just might be all that’s needed. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

It is absolutely useless 

i agree - totally! For a company who are in the communication sector their communication of information about the phones we pay for is useless. I complained to a person about not being able to get the information about a phone number on our account I was told they would get back to me in "two weeks"! SERIOUSLY! **bleep**!  AND, if they didn't come back to me I could call again in two weeks time!!!!

Rubbish service, rubbish web site and app. and this is not the first time! 

If i could switch to any other provider I would and certainly wouldnt recommend - at all!

I've been having exact same issue for about a week now - then can't get through on the phone to speak to someone to ask them to do it manually and report it as an issue.  No chat service that I can find

Sorry to hear you're experiencing an error when trying to gift data. 

Our lines are generally quiet in the morning or early afternoon. 

When you call the technical team will be able to check your online access is still set up correctly to ensure data gifting is working for you again through the Self-Serve options. 
 
You can also reach our live messaging team through the EE App. Just click the "Help" Icon > Message Us, where a guide can gift your data for you.
