Tried repeatedly to set up my DD but after I have input account name, number and SC and hit save I get a message telling me 'This content is blocked. Contact the site owner to fix the issue'. I contacted EE and they suggest there may be issues with the website today so I have tried again hours later and still the issue exists. I then google EE website issues and it seems that issues with website, including payments, are a known historical issue that has not been fixed. I have just tested it with made up details and instead of getting the above error message I get 'Your account validation was unsuccessful. Please check your account details and retry, or use an alternative account'. So it can respond just not when the correct information is entered. It explains why when I signed up for my service they wanted to set up the DD over the phone and judging by past comments on the community the site owner has no intention of ever fixing the issue. Is it too early for a drink .....

@Whydoesitnot If you have spoken to customer services they could have set this up for you over the phone. Not everyone has an issue setting up a DD via their account or this website will be flooded with the same problem and it’s not.

Thanks Chris for your response. That's very strange because as I said in my original post I did search and found many people had billing issues on the platform from not being able to pay to setting up DD's over the last couple of years. I see that next to my original post on the right hand side there is a list of similar themed posts and isn't it only 4% that ever actually complain?. Yes EE did offer to set it up online but I was in a public space and not prepared to give those details when I should be able to set this up privately online - as the web developer clearly included it as an option. Hopefully tomorrow it will be resolved or someone will provide a solution that works. Many thanks again.

It's an issue with the EE website, been on going for months now. There tech people don't seem to know how to do frames properly 🙈

Many thanks Six2 for your response and for reminding me to pay my bill manually before I get a penalty charge for late payment of £7.50.
After weeks and weeks of phone calls an EE representative finally confirmed that it is a known issue and my work arounds were a DD form could be posted to me or I could go into an EE shop where apparently they have a secure tablet/phone that will let me enter my details - presumably using the Chrome fix rather than finding the tech team and explaining their JD to them.

I have the same issue, in fact there are quite a few people reporting this issue, clearly an issue with EE/BT.
