I am having this same issue, ALL of the contract deals that are available for me to upgrade to show different prices once you click on them; Surely this is not allowed? I would like for this to be sorted WITHOUT trying to get me to call or text EE.

Why are the advertised prices not honored? On your website, when I log in and review the upgrade section, it shows me phones at reasonable prices, once I select a phone, the price increases by around £20. Why is this, why do you say one price but then show another? Surely this isn't allowed?

@Redfox2 : It hasn't! It's been moved to its own thread rather than being hidden in a long 2-year old thread. It's better that way.

Thank you, would it not have made more sense to just reply to my comment answering my question though? And why have both the replies I made on 2 different subjects been merged into one? Again, surely it would be quicker and easier to just answer my question rather than doing all this?

I don't know the answer to your Qs. You'll need to take it up with CS.

If there was a way to select an option for an unhelpful response, I would select it for this thread...

No, this Community is all about help. Where has been an unhelpful response?

This is my 3rd time posting this today as EE is for some reason moving my replies to other "related" conversations.
I am currently eligible to upgrade my mobile contract, in the upgrade area of this terrible website, there are lots of different contracts available and they all have a price shown....However, once you select a phone, the price increases by around £20 each time.
Firstly, is this even legal?
Secondly, why is EE moving my replies to other community forum topics that are related to this?
Thirdly, how does one access these lower prices?
I have attached 2 screenshots onto this thread that shows the differing prices. I cannot make it clear enough how frustrating this is. I do not want to call EE, if I was able to do that, I wouldn't have went on the forum in the first place. I have had to use a friends device to download the EE app just to attempt to use the live chat, however you need to get past 3 rounds of the AI trying to convince you that you don't need to speak to someone and then offering solutions unrelated to my question/ complaint.

At this point, I cant wait to end my contract with EE as their online functions and customer service is nothing short of a nightmare to use.
But I still want my questions answered. Hopefully by someone who works for EE and not some random customer who wants to earn a community badge whilst admitting they do not know the answer to my question.
