Unable to purchase SIM only due to bugged credit check

Hi all,

 

So I've been attempting to purchase a SIM only contract via the web store, but everytime I reach the credit check and put in any dates for date of employment/date joined bank/date moved in it will tell me my dates need to be after my birth date.

 

It doesn't matter if I put in 1940 (this is a given) or 2022, it will tell me all dates need to be after my birth date, leaving me unable to continue. It also doesn't matter what device/browser/deal I try this with, it's the same outcome.

 

If anyone could help here that would be grand.

@Christopher_G @Jon_K  I am having similar issue where I am trying to by a 24month sim only plan but cannot get past the credit check due to "Must be after your date of birth" message on my job start date.
It seems like your website is broken as googling the issue suggests that it is a recurring theme. Please are you able to help?

Since you're having the same problem on more than one device/browser, it may be worth giving us a call or popping into your nearest EE Store to see if they can put it through for you.

I have the same issue. Can't get past the credit check page. Absolute joke. Guess I'll just go with a different network.

Different browsers don't make any difference. I was able to do it on the phone though. The mobile version of the website doesn't have the same issue.
