Hi,

im wondering if anyone can help me, I am trying to log into my BT via the EE app to view broadband deals (I have my colleague discount linked to my EE app) everytime I try to log in I keep getting the error message “an invalid value was presented for a property” I receive my verification passcode and it accepts this and when pressing continue this is error message I keep getting. Can anyone help or know what the actual lssue is? I can log into my BT via the BT app with no issues, I’m only getting this when trying to log into my BT via the EE app to view colleague broadband deals. Very frustrating and more than likely to call our colleague products helpline and just stay on BT broadband to avoid EE altogether if i cannot resolve this issue. I have tried via web browser and still getting the same issue

Thanks

BT have updated MyBT for two factor id and other things but have made a right dogs dinner of it for BT users - have at look at the BT community forum for the problems. It is highly likely that little consideration was given to those trying to access BT info using the EE app probably. I would try to see if anyone on the BT forum has posted about this issue but don't have any expectations about an immediate solution as things seem to be very hit and miss.

Just seems like more stress than it’s worth, I will just call our colleague products team on Monday and stay with BT for my broadband as I can log into my BT account fine with no issues via the BT app itself. We now have full fibre where we live and was thinking to move over to EE as they have WiFi 7 routers but will stick with my BT smart hub 2. If the app is giving me this much trouble for something so simple like view colleague broadband deals I’d dread to think what it would be like if I did take EE broadband and tried to manage this through their farcical app. Thanks

You can't access MyBT via the EE app. You need to use the MyBT app.
