Trying to buy a SIM as a new customer, but your website won’t let me!

Came onto the EE website as a new customer, chose a SIM only package, went to buy it and it said I needed to log in or register. So I registered, and now it says I need to add a device or add an account. I don’t have a device to add that’s with EE, I’m a new customer! Makes no sense at all… can anyone help?

Don't login to your MyEE before going to the EE Shop. It expects you to already have an EE mobile phone or SIM contract.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I didn’t. As I said, I went to buy it as a new customer and it asked me to sign in or register. It’s part of the websites buying process.

Not for me it isn't. Are you trying to buy from EE Pay Monthly 4G and 5G SIM Only Deals & Contracts ? I can buy from there w/out being logged in or being forced to register.

Thank you - it seems Google may have sent me to a page for people who are already a customer.

Those prices are way too high though - my current Three sim is £16pm for unlimited everything, whereas EE’s equivalent is £30pm! Way too expensive for me…

Ah, Google! Never trust Google when you can get it from the horse's mouth & easy 😉 !
