Transferring eSIM in usa

I’m in the US buying the new iPhone and want to transfer my eSIM but it’s not letting me. The app also says it’s under construction- any help!

EE seem to be doing some maintenance on the app, it will be back soon no doubt.

As for a SIM swap, it's recommended to do it in the UK when you aren't roaming.  If it doesn't work and fails you may be left with no service.
