When can I download the new app?

 

 

If you have enabled auto updates on your app then, once this version has been rolled out to you, you will log in and see the new experience. If you have not enabled auto-updates, we will provide you with a few prompts to update the app

Hi Leanne

App is fully updated latest being yesterday as you can see in the screenshot the receiver section doesn’t have the yellow arrow on it so when you try and select nothing happens. it’s the same on my iPhone and iPad 

Website worked fine it was what I had to do to gift data 

Also tried deleting app and installing again made no difference

They seem to think the app’s great, easy to navigate, and intuitive, nothing could be further from the truth, and the downtime for the updates is unreal.

Bring back the old app this new version is so much backwards user friendly 

Why would you go to Mobile Plan to get the view of everyone's data in the Family? I'd imagine that would just tell me how many minutes, texts and how much data I have on the plan. And indeed that is what it does.

If you scroll down it shows your own data usage (or to be more exact, the data usage of whichever random account it starts you off in), but to get an overall view you've got to pretend you're going to gift data, assuming you find that.

I looked everywhere for the option to view everyone, which was always the first thing I looked at in the old app, and they just seem to have missed it off.

As others have said, the old app was noticably better, more designed for what customers are likely to want. The new one feels like it's designed for what EE wants. Not very customer friendly at all.

Surely this is good ? I think it is meant to log you out after a period of inactivity for your own account security

I asked a question via the app but the red 1 message icon won’t disappear, I’ve tried to clear the chat but it won’t, tried to reinstall the app after deleting but it’s still there, tried to report a bug via the app but a red box appears on the website I’m directed to and says permanently deleted
