I always opened the app on my iPad.
when I try now I get the message app being upgraded

Welcome to the community,
Have you clicked on App Store to look for the new version of My EE App? There is a new version and you will have to register again, not sure why it has not automatically updated, but I often click on App Store to see if there are any updates. If it is not showing there, then do a search in the App Store for the new version.

I have been to the App Store, it will not allow me to update only open the app that does not work. What should I do next, thanks

Can you try deleting the app and then reinstalling this through the app store, does this work for you?
