Online Shop - Can't use the discount code on certain phones

I have been looking at purchasing a new phone S25 standard is my go-to choice. I have various discount codes that I want to apply.

I go online and choose the phone plan and the code doesn't work.

I then run a test on a couple of other phones and the codes work just fine.

I then test another phone and the codes don't work on that.

The codes T&Cs only specify that the discount is applied to the airtime plan (and does not limit to specific phones, models or contract lengths), which is fine and we can see that the code is indeed applied to the airtime side. The airtime plan is the same in all scenarios and for consistency I've used the same durations as well.

I have called EE and they say that the website side is managed separately. So I am super confused to what is happening here.

Is there a bug on the website and only certain models are being pushed?

What discount code are you using?

With certain discount codes, you aren't able to apply this to a monthly plan that is already discounted.

I've checked online and the Samsung S25 256GB on the Full Works plan is showing as being discounted to £40 from £50 and the Pixel 9a on the Full Works plan is showing as being discounted to £42 from £50.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 256GB and iPhone 16 128GB on the Full Works plan are not showing a discount against them so would be eligible to have the discount applied.
