Not a Valid Email Address

Hi,
I joined EE broadband last month, because the whole package was what I wanted for the family.
Setting up my account, ordering the broadband, getting it operational on the right day… all good 👍
Then I apply for EE ONE iPhone Works Package, and I get the message “Not a Valid Email Address!”. The thing is:
1/. There’s no where on the order page (I’ve tried desktop & mobile), that asks for my email address to be entered, probably because I’m already signed in!
2/. If I press the button “Message Us”, every single time over the last week, I have been met with “Messaging hasn’t loaded. Retry Messaging”… which I do, until eventually I just crawl under my desk, curl into a ball and hummmm…
’Just give them a quick call’, I hear your brain shout… except I can’t. I have PTSD from the forces, and I can’t speak on the phone. RelayUK, is quite difficult too.
Given that almost every company has online chat, text, and/or email, I didn’t think EE Help would be more of a challenge to contact, than a submarine in Putin’s bath!
I ‘thought’ the problem may have been that years ago, I was an EE customer with the same number, but a different email address. I logged into the old account, and linked it to the current operating account, but I still have the same problem.
Id like to get all the family onto EE SIM’s, but I’m loosing the will not to just press random buttons on the keyboard now.

Welcome to the community.
What kind of device are you using when you're trying to do this? Are you able to try our desktop site on a couple of different devices or browsers, just to see if the same thing happens?

Hi Christopher,
Thank you for your patience due to illness.
I have tried ordering on iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 18.2 Beta), iPad Pro (iOS 18.2 Beta), and MacBook Pro 2022.
I always have the same problem, though the desktop has more information.

Have you tried again to contact us through chat? Are you able to get to your nearest EE Store?

Hi Chris,
Yeah, I still can’t get on chat, but I will head to my nearest store. Unfortunately, I need a ferry, and a day out for that, but it’s Christmas, so we will make the best of it.
