Apparently this app is being upgraded. It seems to me to have gone backwards.
Once I found My ee I couldn’t remember my password so requested a code. When this was sent and I opened the email. When I returned to the app it went back to the home screen so I couldn’t use the code. I ended up logging in on my computer to get the code to log in and change my password, a 12 digit password seems somewhat excessive.
I then tried to view a phone upgrade recommended for me, by the time it loaded my screen had gone dark, when I touched the screen it took me back to the Community page where I would need to log in again and go through the same faff again. I’ll not bother.
This app now seems to be orientated to social chit chat rather than customer account services.

Could you try deleting the app and redownloading it please? Just to see if it works any better for you.
