Multiple Devices in App.

Is there a way to make it easier to identify which device is which. I have all my phone numbers for my devices saved on my phone, I have 5. This means that in the app instead of my phone numbers listed to select a device I have 5 pictures of me and my name. I have to then click through all five to find the one I want. Is there an easier way?

Yes, that's right. You don't put the 5 nos. under 1 Contact entry. That's why you're seeing the same name whichever no. you are looking at, which is exactly what you don't want. You create 5 Contact entries, 1 for each no., & give them diff names, like the name of the device they are in.

Give them diff names in your Contacts list, e.g. Me1, Me2, ... or the names of the actual holders.

@davidf  You need to allow the EE app to have access to your contacts on your phone,  it'll then pull the names from your numbers to the EE app.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

That’s what I mean. I have data devices. So I have saved them to my iPhone with names like Apple Watch but all under my contact card. That means they all show with just my name. Which gets confusing. The the other user suggested creating a new user for all my numbers. But that defeats the point of keeping them all where I can easily find them. When I look at my list of devices in the EE App, because they are saved in one contact, they all just show as my name.

Hi @davidf,

Thanks for visiting the EE Community

As @XRaySpeX suggested, if you create a separate contact for each number with its own name rather than as additional numbers on your own contact card, that should then allow the app to pull the info from your saved contacts for each number and label them individually in app to make it easier.
