Taking down the wifi controls so you can update the app is a pretty poor approach. Strategy tax in effect… I doubt this is about users and more about serving ads or not paying for proper iOS and Android developers.

It's a real smart & viable idea to make the only way of setting WiFi Controls & Parental Control for EE BB by using a flaky mobile app that is taken down each night for "maintenance" when it could have done by the user directly from the router itself, which is generally up-&-running all the time & within the user's grasp w/out any need for a smartphone 😖.
