Late fee while server always down on payment date

The server seems to always be down on the 22nd, when I’m trying to make a payment. So the past couple of months, I’ve been charged with a late fee of up to 7 pounds. Is anyone also having this issue?

Welcome to the Community @

There are several ways to make a payment towards your bill, which you can find at How to pay my bill.
You can also make a payment on our Fast Payment page.

You have 7 days from when the bill is generated in which to make the payment. If you find the current bill date is not working for you, you can change it to match your expected payment date with a couple days extra to spare, to avoid any issues if you have to pay the following day.

Just follow the steps on our Changing your EE Mobile bill date page to do this.

However, as you're looking to pay on the 22nd each months, you can set up a DD which will take the payment on that date or after for you automatically, taking the effort and stress away for you.
You can find the guide on how to set up and change the DD date at Change your EE Direct Debit date or details

@vh2301    If EE take accounts off-line they do this late at night when it’ll affect the least majority of customers.    So the best way to avoid this is is to pay before 9pm as accounts if taken offline it’s around 10-11pm.   Or you fast payment as linked above.
