How do I unlink my phone from someone else’s account. (I do not know who they are)

It was given to me as a Christmas present.

@ZENIN   Did that person get this device on contract from EE ?   And is that person a contact customer of EE ?

I don’t know as we haven’t spoken for awhile

@ZENIN     Is this device on contract?   

If this device is requested so someone’s account and it’s on contract that person needs to call customer services to request a change of ownership.  It’s best if you was present at this time as you need to agree to take ownership of that contract.     You’ll need to pass a credit check also.

If you're using it & not topping it up (as PAYG) regularly, it must be on the other person's contract.
