I receive gifted data and I used to be able to check my data usage on the EE app. I no longer seem able to do this and I have tried several times but it seems only the bill payer gets to see my usage. What am I doing wrong please?

Hi @Christopher_G , thank you for replying. I have just looked for the add-on page that you mentioned above but I am unable to find it. The app wants me to link my SIM but when I try to do so it tells me that I need to be the person who pays the bills to do so. I do receive texts on this mobile phone when my husband gifts me data so there must be some link already. I would just like to be able to confirm my data quantity and usage.

If registered as a user in the EE app, you should still be able to view your data allowances. Does your plan show on the app home screen?

Hi James and thank you for your reply. Did try Christopher’s link but it would not open anything. No, my plan does not show on the app Home Screen like it used to. My husband, the bill payer, does have my mobile number listed in his account under Family Gifting showing my data usage it just would be good if I could access this info too. I have just uninstalled then installed the EE app. No change, my Home Screen is asking me to link a product, then after a passcode I get through to “Confirm you’re the account holder”, I then click “No, someone else pays” - (my husband) and then get told that “We need to stop here” as only the account holder of a product can link it with their account.

No my email address has remained the same but thanks for thinking about this. My husband’s mobile number does show up as being the account holder so my app does link us in that respect and recognises me that way if that means anything.

Yes James, we have separate email addresses and log in using our own personal email address.

As I'm unsure of what could be causing this behaviour, I'm going to recommend that you call Technical Support on 150.
They can access your account to check the registration status of each number, and should be able to get to the bottom of it for you.
