As from this morning yes, however some of the options are coming up as
inaccessible with a heading which reads "Our fault not yours ..."

Please can you confirm that my son's phone does not have to be turned off
and on again for the data block to be put in place - as this would
totally defeat the object.
I have looked at this, this morning and need clarification on this.

Are you wanting to block data on his number by turning this off in the My EE app? 

If so, this would block any data usage without the phone needing to be turned off.
