Does anybody actually use the laptop EE App ? It just does not function the way a normal App works - any comments ?

Hi @SamsungA10
Can you explain your issue and which EE app you're referring.
Thanks

@SamsungA10 You can only get the EE app from the App Store or Play Store, there is no app available for a laptop/PC

I mean the EE website ,using Firefox. If I access my account this way , the performance is inconsistent and confusing. The on entry screen /exp/home does not appear to be re-accessible when one has moved away from it . Many other inconsistency issues.

EE App on Samsung phone works OK . If , using Firefox , I log into www.ee.co.uk, using the same email and p/w used to set up the EE app on the phone , then the info supplied and navigation of the site is inconsistent , particulary as follows :-
1) The on entry screen is inconsistent . Sometimes it comes up with https://ee.co.uk/exp/manageid/profile , other times with https://ee.co.uk/exp/home . If I then navigate away from the /exp/home by clicking on Plans and Subscriptions, then there is no obvious way to get back to the /exp/home scree, apart from using the Firefox Go Backwards one page ( the left facing arrow ) . Why is there not a HOME button ?
2)Many other inconsistencies of functioning .

The problem relates to how www.ee.co.uk is organised . Let me explain . If you access the site without logging in , then a lot of info and selectable tabs are presented .If then you actually login , you would expect all the above "junk" to disapear , and be left with a set of " account only" tabs and selectables , which would relate to the fact that you have now logged in , and now want to see only info related to your account .

Hi @SamsungA10
I know you've mentioned these problems are seen on Firefox. Have you tested using a different browser to see if you get the same experience?

Hi Chris , I have tested it with Edge and Chrome . With Edge I can get into www.ee.co.uk but when I try to login, the screen just oscillates .As a test I immediately checked www.bbc.co.uk and other websites - there was no problem . Chrome performance was the same as Firefox . Frankly I don't think that EE intend users to actually log into www.ee.co.uk and do anything useful . I guess that everybody just uses the EE App on their mobile phones - which does work OK .
Laptop HP Pavillion Win11 , upgraded many months ago from Win 10 ,fully up to date . Using McAfee as Antivirus/Firewall - fully up to date .
