I have uninstalled the App and re=installed it a dozen times, cleared the Cache but the App still does not work. Not sure why I changed from BT to EE as BT had an app that worked and I could keep my eye on data usage. Since changing to EE the App has never worked all it tries to do is take me to the EE website but never connects. I would assume that the App is not a stand alone App but just a link to the EE website.
Very poor for a company the size of EE. Will be pleased when my contract finishes.

Hi @Swaddie-72.
Within your phone settings under privacy and security does Block opening external apps show as off?

Hi @Swaddie-72
What Android device do you have?
What error messages do you receive?
Thanks

Hi Northerner
I have a Samsung Galaxy A53 -5G Phone.
I do receive an error message Bad request. Not sure why the App should want to open a website. It also showed two phone numbers one of which I have not ever had. I am on the verge of giving up.

Hi @Swaddie-72
Thanks for coming here.
Can you access the My EE account online using a web browser, or do you get the same message?
Leanne.

@Swaddie-72 All apps that link to an account are just portals to that account. Your account isn’t on your device through that app as your account is on a server that the app links you to, It’s basically a fancy bookmark to one specific account.
The website opening is so you can authenticate yourself with your account via the app.

Hi Katie
The Block opening external apps button is found under the settings for the Edge Browser. This was set to on, once I turned this to off the EE App started working.
Thanks for your help.
