Daughter abroad

I need to gift my daughter data. EE is down. This is ridiculous. I can't text EE, error message and the offices are closed. I need to gift her ASAP

That's not the point. That's her daughter. I'm in the same position and waiting until the morning just won't do.

My daughter is abroad and has asked for data and there is nothing I can do. All this maintenance on all platforms.. you can't be the best service in the UK. Even though the "vast" majority of customers are not using, there are others who may need to. I'm taking this complaint further and if anything happens to my daughter it's on EEs hands. Maintenance takes hours, it's not a quick fix. The lack of empathy from the "community helpers" in the messages is alarming.

I'm really sorry to hear of your situation last night, and I understand how worried you must have been.

We run any essential maintenance through the night, to try and cause as little disruption as possible to our customers. I know it's not always possible, but it's best to gift data before 10PM in the evening.

You should be able to access your account as normal this morning. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
