@Lj37 : You could perhaps submit a Subject Access Request (SAR) by using the online GDPR Form. It normally takes up to a month but could take up to 3 months. This could tell you what you are looking for but will be a copy of all personal info. EE do hold on you.
Alternatively you could look at your bank statement to see how long you have been paying EE/Orange/T-M for your mobile contract.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

@Lj37 Or you could just call customer services and ask.

@Chris_B @I think I have had another number some years ago, but I don’t know if that was with EE or Orange and I have no idea whether data from being an orange customer is still held and by who and where. Customer services told me 6years for billing but couldn’t tell me about my other info/old contracts etc.

It can only be by EE on EE systems as they are wholly owned subsidiaries/brand names of EE.
