I have just updated the MyEE app and wanted to gift some data. I have three numbers on my plan, two phones and one data (unlimited).
I have found the part of the app to gift data but the page is incomplete, it asks for the source number but not the destination. I tried the website both from the phone and from a laptop and got various messages about the data usage info being unavailable or simply "whoops, something went wrong our end...".
Is the app broken, or the data recording system or both?

Can you try another browser does the same happen in your My EE account online?
When was the last time you gifted data?

The last time was s few weeks ago. I can't be more accurate because clicking on gifting history gives me no information.
I wrote that I had the same or similar issues on my laptop. Now you have asked I need to check that I used my laptop rather than my android browser (Firefox) to access the website. I will get back to you on that as soon as possible.

If you have any problems using the laptop, please call us on 150 and the team will get this looked into for you.

Yes, it'sa similar thing. In data gifting on the website I get both the gift from and gift to dialogs but both show the error message " We will have it fixed soon - sorry we can't show this device's data right now. Please try again later". Will call 150

Hi, I have the same issue. I am unable to gift data from the app nor the website. I have over 150 GB of unused data. I am currently abroad and difficult to make a call. Even the messaging help line is not helping.

Could you try again this morning? Is there anyone in the UK who can call our Mobile Care team on your behalf?

Unfortunately, my kids will not be able to call. My number is xxxxxxxxxxx. Can you just look into the account and try to get someone fix the data gifting for me.
