Change incorrect phone number

Despite following all the information to change my incorrect mobile number on the site, nothing changes. Have even spoken to a human who talked me through it but nothing changed as he promised.

Which number on the website are you trying to change? Is it the contact number located in Profile>Personal details> Contact number? Or is it a different number that is incorrect?

What is happening when you try and change it?

It's my contact number. The last digit should be 2 and not 3. Whatever I
try does not change it and when I spoke to EE I was assured it would
rectify the problem after 48 hours. It didn't.

@DKELMAN Did the guide say they had changed it on your behalf when you rang? As if you don't have access to the current number to confirm a PIN you wont be able to change it online. 

It is possible it has updated our side but not in your online account, when was it you called?
