Can’t remove EE notification from app

I’ve got a notification showing on the EE app and I can’t remove it, there’s nothing in the app I can do to remove it.

I’ve turned off notifications and turn them back on again and this doesn’t solve the issue. I’ve removed the app and reinstalled and that didn’t help.

What I have noticed though, When I go to the help section and click on message us, in the top left-hand corner, it has a back arrow with a red circle indicating that I have a notification if I press the arrow with the notification it takes me to a search menu and it doesn’t get rid of it.

I can only presume this is a bug with the app.

Most users who reported this recently have confirmed that the latest update has fixed this issue, @S_P_000 

Could you try deleting and re-downloading it again, just to be sure?
