There was an even longer - some 9 hour - outage today affecting anything requiring sign-in such as viewing the account on website, or this forum, and the app - looking at downdetector and some websites it affected BT customers also.

It's unfortunate that using the app just to access the Hub requires account sign in - I was part way through initial setup after joining EE when it happened and couldn't access the Hub from the app - all day - not a great start.

At the same time the Hub restarted a couple of times - likely due to a firmware update, and it was a while for some devices to start working - likely they still had IP addresses from the previous router - all reasonable issues but the app not being available most of the day didnt help.
