App is down again this is happening a lot lately, as the person said in previous post, can’t even data gift her son, if that happened to me with my daughter and she needed access to data and I couldn’t do anything I would be so anxious and so mad.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Thanks for coming back to us, @Dasher01.
If you regularly pause their connection around the same time, you can set up a schedule so the WiFi pauses automatically, which helps if the app isn’t available at the time.
With WiFi Controls you can manage how devices connect to your home WiFi. Things like pausing the WiFi for specific devices, setting times when they can’t go online, or blocking certain types of content.
You can find more information on our Using parental controls on an EE Smart Hub Help page.

@Dasher01 So you gift data during the day when EE don’t do account maintenance which happens late at night. As for your kids being on their laptops there are other options you have to stop that as a parent.

Hi @Dasher01.
Thanks for coming to the community.
We carry out routine maintenance on the app and website from time to time to keep everything running smoothly. While these updates are typically minor, they contribute to a better overall experience.
This work can occasionally cause short periods of reduced access, especially overnight, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
