App is always getting last minute improvements

Ajtk1986

I changed my broadband to ee recently from sky. I have had ee broadband for around 2 months and countless times I have come on to remove permissions for my children's devices at night and I can not access the app. They need their devices for their alarms in the morning so I cannot remove them from them as a solution. I want to know why the app is consistently being updated. How many updates a week does it need that I dont have access to things I need on the app. There is no warning and sometimes it lasts for 2-3 days. I am seriously considering changing back to sky if this continues and it is completely inconvenient

I dont want other solutions to my issue. I want to be able to access the app and control my WiFi. Please ee can you not schedule a large update once a month at a weekend and in the night instead of constantly causing myself and others the problem of not being able to log in.

Thanks

Hi @Ajtk1986,

Welcome to the Community!

We do our best to ensure that any work on the app happens outside of high usage times, so this does usually happen overnight. It is odd that this is happening for a number of days, so if you do see this happen then I'd recommend deleting and reinstalling the app, so to see if this helps.

You can also add devices to a group and set cut off times ahead of schedule, so you don't need to do this manually.
