Here we go again. App taken offline just as parents need it for bedtime.
every bloody week.
EE, you are just terrible
you keep updating the App and it still breaks weekly.
pay someone who knows what they are doing to fix it **bleep**.
in the meantime, my teens can doomscroll alllll night AGAIN.
parental control on EE is just **bleep**

I’m sorry, but as someone who works in the IT industry, I find the number of times the entire app has to be taken offline for maintenance unacceptable.
Other mobile providers don’t seem to have this issue. Having recently come from Sky, any maintenance was typically carried out during the early hours of the morning to minimise disruption to customers.
Taking the app completely offline during the day is poor service and suggests there are opportunities to improve the resilience of the platform and the way maintenance is managed.

Agreed! Why isn't it micro-services? Why can't the previous version be used locally on device? We shouldn't even need to be online when on The Same WiFi!

Yep sick of this too, ifs a constant and the app is still as **bleep**e as it ever was 🤷🏼♂️same issue with the kids/teens grrr!!

I agree, it makes sense to carry out maintenance during the quietest hours, not between 9pm and midnight!
