Readly offer problems

Had a previous subscription with Readly so thought I’d take you up on that six months free offer…

Sadly Readly can’t get their act together and grant me up to date access, it’s either in French with no items in my library or it’s showing my out of date library and not recognising the EE subscription…

what a cluster…

remember now why I cancelled last August

Thanks for coming back to us, @9teen60six.

As the Readly add-on is showing on your account and you've received confirmation from both EE and Readly, it would be worth contacting Readly directly, particularly as you've previously had a subscription with them.

You can find their support options on the Readly Support page.

Or, if you'd prefer, you can submit a request to contact their support team directly.

Hi @9teen60six.

Thanks for coming to the Community.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Readly subscription.

When you log in to your EE account, can you see the Readly add-on showing against your account?

If it is showing and you're still having problems, our customer support team will be able to check the status of the add-on and help further.

Debbie

Hi Debbie

Thanks for the reply, yes it’s showing on my account subscription and I’ve had confirmation from EE and Readly saying welcome…

I’m getting loads of junk mail from them welcoming me and to get me to choose my favourite magazines, if only I could get in to it so I could 🫪

Thanks Debbie

I’ve been onto them for the last five days and getting nowhere with them.

I can see a subscription cancellation on the horizon…

I'm sorry you're still having trouble with this, Ian, especially after spending the last five days trying to get it sorted.

As you've confirmed the subscription is showing on your EE account, Readly will need to continue looking into why it's not being recognised correctly.

I appreciate how frustrating this must be, and I hope they can get this resolved for you soon.

Debbie

Having given Readly a week to sort my access, I’ve finally given up and decided to cancel the subscription. I can get it on my iPad Pro after jumping through some hoops, however I cannot get access through my iPhone or PC 🤷‍♂️

Very frustrating

Ian

I’ve had the same issue and been bounced from EE to Readly with lengthy email strings.  It’s not fair to expect customers to have to troubleshoot this using so much of our own time, and  without any resolution.Doesn’t feel like a ‘reward’  - more like I’ve been given a job to do.

Debbie - please also see my message below - same issue, same dire experience

They took best part of two weeks to find the issue, they sent me a link to reset the password on the parent company website and a link to download the app on the App Store.

it looked like our tablets/phones try and restore the early versions. Now they’d know the issue they, readily, should be able to get you up and running..

regards

Ian
