Then you can read the post referring to the link & the link itself side-by-side. It's better & cleaner. I've asked for this a no. of times.
I have to keep remembering to change it from the default Open in Current Window every time 😞 .
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hey @XRaySpeX,
Those changes have now been made. The 'Target' option will now default to 'Open in new page' 😀

When using my Phone, which is most of the time these days, I just press and the Link, option, open New Tab in Group, then choose or switch between the two.

@EssexBoyEE : Are you saying that pressing the paper-clip icon above brings up diff screens on mobile view from desktop? It doesn't on my mobile. Cuz that is all I'm asking about.

I suggested this ages ago, nothing happened.
I also think adding these links to the bottom of the page as well would be useful, to save scrolling back up.

Hi @XRaySpeX,
Thanks for the suggestion. I also prefer links to open in a new window 😀
I have some good news. I have requested that Khoros change the 'Target' option drop down so that it defaults to 'Open in new window' as opposed to 'Open in current window'. I am happy to report that they have confirmed that this is possible and they will go ahead with the change.
This should happen in the next couple of hours, if not sooner. Once I receive confirmation that it has been applied I will let you know, but you will probably notice before I do 😀
Cheers

Hi @chistery,
Thanks for the suggestion. I agree it would make navigation that bit easier.
Making this addition is not quite as easy and would require some development work. This isn't something that I can do at the moment but will consider this in the future. I am sorry my reply wasn't more favourable.
Cheers
