Hi, I want to change my username as my mother used to more or less control this account as I pay for my little sisters phone contract, but my mother passed away so I’ve taken over and would like to update the username.
I don’t understand why we can’t seem to change our usernames ourselves, surely it would be easier no? 😅

Thank you for coming to the community and I'm so sorry for your loss.
If this is the community username you want to change for when you post on the community, I have sent you a private message.
If the username is for your EE account and you've been in contact with us to let us know of your Mum's passing, you can change the username by logging into the EE app and selecting Profile > Personal details > What should we call you.
For any other changes, please contact us and the team will be happy to help.

@elementalapathy : You need to request 1 of the Community Team to change your username here.
However you also talk about your phone contracts which have nowt to do with your use of this Community. Have you formally taken over her EE a/c or are you just using it w/out informing EE. If the latter you might need to consider Changing an EE account in the case of a life event > Notify us of a bereavement.
