charged for a phone line and services

Hi, When my bt line was changed to the new superfast lines it stopped all my phone sockets from working, yet I have been chargedfor the number and services none of which I had !  Can I get a refund from the last few years?

@sarah6061 : No!

If all your phone sockets were working for making & receiving calls before you were changed to FTTP & DV then you did have a landline no. & service for which you were paying. When it was changed all that happened was your landline went digital but it wasn't stopped (unless you instructed it to be stopped). Now you can get your calls by plugging your phone into the green Phone socket on the back of the router.

@sarah6061 Is this with EE, and are you sure you have NO phone, if Digital then the phone plugs into the back of the EE Router for operation! Or the BT Smarthub2 version if EE said you keep that as good enough to work!
