Where has my automatic reply gone?

I used to have an automatic response on my BT4600 phone asking any callers not on my caller list who they were and what they wanted.
I now have the new EE Home Phone Plus which 'apparently' is an upgrade to digital. 
But I now do not have a response option, just the chance to send calls I don't recognise to junk voicemail. 
Is this feature not available on this phone or do I need an answerphone in order to do this?

@bakersboy Feature off you BT4600 so that is what you want to use attached to the ATA port on your EE Router.

The equivalent DV feature but no were near as good you can try linked below!
