Hi
just moved to EE Broadband and trying to setup BT Decor 2200 phones using the Digital Voice Adapter.
I have 2 x Phones and 2 X DVA. (1 of these is EE device & the other BT if that makes any difference to the issue?)
initially for some hours these were ok. They would both ring on an incoming call and could make outgoing calls.
connection is intermittent though. Often they don’t ring and if I pick up the handset there is no line buzz noise and unable to make calls.
The phones do not indicate to check line which they would do if I unplugged the cables.
the DVA light is showing continuous green.
Tried micro filters and that makes no difference. These should not be needed as the handsets are new.
unplugging the DVA from the mains socket and plugging back in gets them working again for some hours and they then stop again.
anything else I should be doing?
Thanks

& just when you thought it was all ok the digital wireless handsets have all stopped working.
the wired ones to the rear of the hub are both ok.
will debug this further tomorrow !

@Ashley354 Leave those in the fault condition and see if logging into the router http://192.168.1.254 shows anything out of the ordinary. Always the kiss of death as soon as you mention working fine....

Thanks. Will do. Realised I haven’t registered the redundant DVA’s so need to do that as well.
it’s my parents set up so will update tomorrow after I visit.

Latest update -
no obvious faults on hub after logging in.
My Dad was complaining that they weren’t ringing but not convinced that was the case. he said he’d answered a call on one of the digital handsets and the person on other end was unable to hear him very clearly.
I did a hub reset just in case.
I deregistered the 2x DVA as no longer in use.
All phones now working - 2 x wired from rear of hub and 3 x digital handsets. All ringing in and out ok.
my Dad said that the blue light near the earpiece on the digital phones went off 2 nights ago and that’s when he had the issue (not clear what the issue was now!).
Blue lights are still off despite all digital handsets working ok - from what I can see that indicates a connection to the hub but even with it off they are all connected fine and show connected in hub desktop. Tried registering and registering one but blue connectivity light remains off - anyone got any insight on to that?
For now all is working.

@Ashley354 Had a quick look see through manuals and internet, do not see anything regarding blue light mentioned for the handset. 2 possibilities though, handset in use, maybe night light indication who knows, Not having good voice hearing one way is a reported fault, if it happens get you dad to try going to fixed landline extension, pick up the phone, see if it connects and can talk/hear any better, not sure how it will work with the ability to have 2 separate calls with this service though.
