Our current master socket is in the loft but has phone sockets on route wired to a secondary pair, so the primary pair goes to the loft, through the master socket and down on a secondary pair to the sockets where the phones are plugged in. Is this wiring going to be compatible with Digital Voice?
Thanks!

There is an alternative way to make use of your internal phone wiring to replace methods 1 & 2 above. That is to reinject the analogue phone signal out the back of the router by connecting it to 1 of the existing phone sockets & thus reinvigorating it as a continuous live copper circuit. You may then have to isolate the A & B terminals at the back of the master socket if there is still current from outside.
Pulse dialling handsets will not work on DV but there might be converters to tone dialling (DTMF). .

OK, thanks, that's disappointing since I already have sockets wired up in the house not to be able to use them.
I have a 3-handset DECT BT answerphone, plus one rotary trim phone. Will pulse phones still work?

Thank you, this is what I was thinking, At the moment the NTE5 faceplate filters and provides the internal phone extensions which I will need to disconnect and I will try and source a male-to-male bt plug lead to inject back into the internal phone extensions via the faceplate or extension socket.
I wondered if there was an easier option. Thanks!
