@Gerald1943 : Recorded where?

You can change your recorded VM greeting by dialling 1571 & choosing the option to change it.

@Gerald1943 Are you trying it direct EE Hub connected or via a DVA with your landline phone connection.

Good Morning

Many thanks for your quick response to my problem - I have followed the procedure having called 1571 but the EE system refuses to over-ride their standard voicemail. Re- recording my message still produces the same result!

Cheers

Gerald

@Gerald1943 Try it as this way incase there has been a change to the operation, this from the Manual instead off the Help guide.

Voicemail set up Manual Guide....Voicemail set up Manual Guide....

Many thanks but the procedure you describe still fails to use my recorded message in preference to the standard message!

@Gerald1943 It's a follow the solution for you then, call EE CS and get them to take a look at why it's not happening for you.

Just dial 150 from your landline phone and listen to the IVR options to get connected to a EE CS Guide.

Just my wild idea: You're not mixing up your own Ansaphone's greeting msg with 1571's greeting?

Now that is a very good suggestion EXCEPT they are so busy I am asked to hold for 45 minutes with no call back option offered - rubbish service in the extreme!!

Cheers
