I have just purchased a BT Advanced Digital Home Phone with Alexa built-in.
I followed the instructions to link it to my EE Smart Hub Plus.
The phone immediately instructed me to Register this handset to the Hub.
I did this by pressing the WPS button and for a few seconds the phone screen said ''Registered Handset 3'' and then immediately displayed ''no connection to Hub''.
Repeated actions, including resetting both the Hub, and the phone to it's factory condition, have only produced the message ''Registration failed''.
I currently have a BT Advanced Twin Phone in the first floor home office with a handset in a bedroom. Hence the original reference to Handset 3. The Advanced Phone is plugged into the Phone port on the Hub.
I purchased the Advanced DIgital Home Phone for the Ground floor Hall.
Any ideas.
Regards,
Rodney

@rodneyashfordqs When you are attempting to pair the advanced phone to the EE router, are they both fairly close to each other?

@rodneyashfordqs The only thing that i can think of is to try to deregister the handset if that can be done. Copy of the link to the pdf manual. Also believe that the Alexa does no longer function on the phone, think i saw on one of the post's but if you search you should find it. Take it you watched the video setup also?

I am unable to Register the phone.
I am therefore unable to access the Menu to select Settings to deregister the handset!

@rodneyashfordqs So final thought, have you tried with your existing dect handset's disconnected from the back of the router, and then trying to get the advanced phone to connect?
